Travel tips when travelling to Hong Kong

Travel tips for today are for those travelling or planning to travel to Hong Kong! Here are some shopping tips in Hong Kong for smart travellers like you:

Bargaining is normal in the Hong Kong market but it excludes the shopping practices at the mall because you only pay for what is displayed on the price tag. Of course, you can bargain something lower than its selling price, but be careful with cunning sellers that would try to cheat your money. For example, selling electronic goods with pirated components.

Buying clothes

If you are a a budget traveller and don’t wish to spend too much on unnecessary shopping, you might as well get yourself some clothes from Tsim Sha Tsui shops! There are lots of cheap clothes, handbags, and jewelleries that you can buy there.

Buying bags and luggage

Make sure you take a close look on the leather goods and luggages that you wish to buy because what you see aren’t always what you expect them to be. You can find all sorts of brands such as Louis Vuitton, Calvin Klein, and Gucci displayed at Hong Kong department stores. If you want something simple and affordable, visit Li Yuen St East and Li Yuen St West!
