Genie in Saudi Arabia


Not all Genies live in the bottle. Some are free, close to us. It does exist and in 2009, a family made a report about a ‘Genie’ that has been harassing them.  Surprisingly, the family accused the spirit for threatening them, throwing stones and stealing mobile phones.

According to them, they claimed that they heard strange sounds. At first, they did not take it seriously but after weird things started to happen around the house, they were scared, especially when the genie started to throw stones. They also confessed that a woman and a man spoke to them, telling them to get out of the house. According to the Islamic belief, Genies are normally invisible but posses the ability of a human or animal form; they are also said to be motivated by strong jealousy and grudge.
