The Tung Lung Fort, Hong Kong

Image

Did you know that the Tung Lung Fort is one of Hong Kong’s declared monuments? It was built in the late 17th or early 18th century and was attacked a number of times by pirate bands before it was abandoned in 1810. The fort used to have 15 guardhouses and was armed with eight cannons. To find out more about it, you can check its information centre from 9am-4pm.
