The Raid, Indonesian movie

Love Indonesian movies? Why don’t watch its action movies? One of the hottest movies in Indonesia is The Raid.  Never heard of it? Here’s a brief introduction of the movie. The movie tells a story about a rookie member of an elite special-forces team, Rama, who was instructed to hang back during a covert mission involving the extraction of a brutal crime lord from a rundown fifteen-story apartment block.

Australia, the movie

Have u watched the movie Australia? It is a 2008 epic historical romance film directed by Baz Luhrman, starring Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman. It is the 2nd highest grossing Australian film of all time after Crocodile Dundee. The film is a character story, set between 1939 and 1942 against a dramatised backdrop of events across northern Australia at the time, such as the bombing of Darwin during World War II & its production took place in Sydney, Darwin Kununurra & Bowen. The movie was released in both Australia and the United States on 26th November 2008.

Thailand’s horror movie, ‘Shutter’

One of Thailand’s scariest horror movies is ‘Shutter’, which was released in 2004. Starring Ananda Everingham, Natthaweeranuch Thongmee, and Achita Sikamana, this movie focuses on mysterious images seen in developed pictures. It tells a story of a photographer named Tun (Ananda Everingham) and Jane (Natthaweeranuch Thongmee), who were caught in a car accident. Jane knocked a young woman. With much fear, Tun prohibited Jane from getting out of the car: They eventually drove away, leaving the helpless girl lying on the road. Guess what happened next? =)

Fashion King, Korean drama

If you are a big fan of Korean dramas, perhaps you can watch 패션왕 / Fashion King, a romance Korean drama about a young aspiring designer Kang Young Gul (Yoo Ah In) who at the beginning has nothing and starts his fashion business as a vendor on Dongdaemun market. He never aims anything higher than what he already has until he meets Lee Ga Young (Shin Se Kyung) who loses both parents in an accident at a very young age and she grows up into an intelligent & dedicated young woman. She is a talented designer and finally makes a big hit in the fashion industry where she then meets world-class designers.
